Cart Protection

Automatic Cart Expiration Extension

Monitors the 20-minute reservation timer on Zalando Lounge and automatically renews it, keeping your items safe in your cart.

Why does the shopping cart expire?

Zalando Lounge allocates 20 minutes to complete checkout. When the timer runs out, items are automatically removed from your cart and returned to open inventory for other shoppers.

The extension tracks this countdown timer continuously, so you never have to rush or watch the clock while shopping.

When is the cart renewed?

To avoid unnecessary requests to the store, cart renewal does not run constantly:

Browsing across multiple tabs

You can keep multiple Zalando Lounge tabs open at the same time.

The extension automatically coordinates between tabs to ensure only one tab sends the renewal request. This prevents conflicts and ensures uninterrupted protection for your cart.

Status indicator colors in the side panel

A status light in the side panel shows the current state of your cart protection:

•Green: protection is active and the timer is renewing automatically.

•Gray: feature is disabled (requires an active Premium plan).

•Red: connection issue or store session has expired. Simply refresh the store page to restore it.
